Church attenders and leaders across 20 denominations were asked in the 2021 National Church Life Survey (late 2021/early 2022) about their views on whether homosexuality should be accepted by society. We present the views of church attenders and senior local church leaders.
Around two-thirds of church attenders were in favour of homosexuality being accepted by society, compared to 6 in 10 senior local church leaders.
