Australians' views on climate change

Climate change has been a subject of discussion in Australia and around the world in recent years. The majority of Australians, some eight in ten, think climate change is happening, and of those, around half attribute the cause to humans. Older Australians are more likely to believe that climate change is happening compared to younger age groups. Differences in views were found between Australians of different faith backgrounds.
